Taipei MRT: 200 Passengers Evacuated under Unpleasant Burning Smell

200 passengers when evacuated today on a MRT stopped at Xihu Station heading towards NanGang Exhibition Hall Station (Brown Line) at 9:18 AM. Passengers described an unpleasant burning smell on the train. Everyone on the train were immediately evacuated. None were injured. Taipei MRT is now functioning normally after the evacuation.

As to the reason of the burning smell, Taipei MRT has yet to determine the cause.
